Caroline Toal is an award-winning actor and an emerging playwright based in Toronto. She has originated numerous roles in new Canadian theatre productions and has been nominated for seven awards, winning two Dora Mavor Moore awards. Caroline was also the recipient of The Stratford Festival’s 2025 Mary Savidge Award for outstanding development and dedication in the craft of a young actress.

Most recently, Caroline originated the role of Anne Shirley in Stratford Festival’s world premiere of the smash hit, Anne of Green Gables, by Kat Sandler.
